Erin is always happiest out in the barn working with horses.
Having taken her first riding lesson at eleven years of age, she was hooked. With the support of her parents, she rode, trained and competed throughout her school years.
She is an accomplished rider with many awards to her credit. Having ridden and competed in all disciplines, she focused on dressage, competing extensively up to Advanced level, riding her own as well as clients' horses.
Erin completed the C.E.F. coaching certification program, as teaching and training clients' horses was a natural progression in her career.
Always wanting to expand her knowledge, she became interested in saddle making and saddle fit. She completed a saddle makers course in North Carolina, and quickly realized there was a need for correctly fitted saddles for problem horses.
She enrolled and completed an intensive course on saddle fitting which was presented by the Master Saddlers Association. This course included assessment of saddle fit, saddle construction, principles of locomotion, as well as anatomy of horse and rider.
In this regard, Erin's extensive experience has convinced her that County saddles are a superior product.
She often states "Horses talk to you, you just have to listen." Quality tack and custom fit will help you understand what your horse is telling you.
